Unilorin Electrical Engineering and Entry Requirements

Unilorin, Department, Electrical Engineering, entry requirements, direct entry, JAMB, WAEC, subjects combination
Engineers in the field of Electrical and Electronics can work virtually in all companies including education institutions, healthcare institutions and research institutions.

University of Ilorin (UNILORIN) started teaching Electrical and Electronics Engineering three (3) years after the establishment of the institution to produce engineers who are skill in design, development, repair and management of all machines, gadgets and tools which use electrical current and in the process of electricity generation, transmission and distribution.

At undergraduate level, Electrical and Electronics Engineering at UNILORIN lasted a minimum duration of five (5) year to those admitted to 100 level of the programme, leading to the award of Bachelor of Engineering (5) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.

The course is accredited by the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN) and National University Commission (NUC) and that is why the curriculum for the teaching of the course strictly follow the NUC's Benchmark Minimum Academic Standard.

Listed below are the minimum entry requirements accepted by the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the O'level and Direct Entry candidates plus the WAEC and JAMB's UTME subjects combination.
