Each of the engineering course are four years programmes leading to the award of Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree certificate in Engineering. 

All the programmes are accredited by Engineers Australia and their graduates are recognised by Washington Accord of the International Engineering and that means they can practice anywhere in the world.

The Faculty of Engineering liaise with more than 1200 engineering, technology and government organisations for the purpose of research, innovation, placement and internship.

They also engaged in students exchange programmes with partner universities from around the world.

Admission Requirements

University of Sydney Faculty of Engineering admit domestic and international  students every year. The admission requirement for domestic applicants is different from those of international students. While the institution follows the domestic admission requirements for domestic applicants for engineering programmes they try to make use of acceptable qualification from countries where international students are coming from. 

The basic requirements to get admission to study any of the above engineering programmes is for an applicant to have secondary education qualification, NSW higher school certificate or national or international equivalent.

Series of secondary schools and higher school qualification from across the world will be accepted for admission.

Approved higher education qualification, plus approved preparatory courses may also be accepted for admission.

English Language Proficiency:

Medium of instruction for all engineering programmes is English language and so all international students whose mother tongue or official language is not English are required to present English proficiency test certificate.
